HOW WE CAN ASSIST
For overseas manufacturers, exporters, suppliers, service providers and other businesses with a dispute involving an Israeli counterparty. Each matter is subject to review and acceptance.
Claims for unpaid goods, services and contractual payments. We review the agreement, invoices, delivery or performance records, payments and any objections raised by the Israeli customer.
Disputes involving supply, distribution, agency and service agreements, including non-performance and disputed termination. The contract and commercial objective guide the proposed response.
Assessment and pursuit of compensation claims arising from commercial dealings. We examine the alleged breach, evidence of loss, causation and the need for accounting or other expert evidence.
Demand letters, negotiations and representation in appropriate Israeli proceedings, followed by review of the available enforcement steps. Existing foreign judgments require a separate assessment.
WORKING FROM ABROAD
The firm is based in Hadera and handles commercial matters connected to Israel. You can begin by sending the parties’ names and a short summary in English, then arrange a discussion of the documents and proposed next steps.
Where your company already has counsel abroad, we can coordinate the Israeli work with that team. Reporting, document handling and the division of responsibilities are agreed for the engagement.
Meet Hatem Ayyat, Attorney & NotaryFROM ASSESSMENT TO RECOVERY
The right route may involve negotiation, proceedings or a different commercial response. We assess the appropriate course for the particular dispute.
Identify the parties, agreement, evidence, claimed amount and any urgent dates. Review jurisdiction and dispute-resolution clauses, the counterparty’s position and available information about recovery.
Discuss the commercial objective, available routes and material risks. Ask for a written proposal covering the scope of work, professional fees and expected external expenses.
Prepare the appropriate action for the accepted matter: a payment demand, settlement negotiations or a claim. Where urgency arises, assess whether interim relief is available and appropriate.
Review settlement compliance or judgment enforcement, keeping the ability to recover money in view. A successful claim and actual collection are separate stages.
PREPARE FOR THE FIRST DISCUSSION
For the first enquiry, provide the company names, country, approximate amount and a short description. The office will confirm the conflict check and how to provide the relevant documents.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A foreign company may have a route to bring a claim in Israel. We first review the parties, contract, jurisdiction and arbitration clauses, applicable law and procedural requirements. A connection to Israel alone does not settle where a dispute should be heard.
Send the original agreement, specifications, proof of delivery or performance, complaints and your responses. A disputed invoice requires an assessment of both the payment obligation and the customer’s objections or potential counterclaim.
The initial discussion and document review can take place remotely. Any requirements for signatures, corporate authority, authentication, translations, witness evidence or attendance are reviewed for the particular proceedings.
We can assess the remedies supported by the agreement, applicable law and evidence. Prepare a calculation of each claimed loss and the records supporting it. Recoverability and proof of damages require individual review.
Recovery prospects should be considered before substantial litigation costs are incurred. We review available company and asset information, insolvency risks and any relevant security or guarantees. A judgment does not guarantee payment.
Send the complete judgment and information about the proceedings, service, appeals and the debtor’s Israeli connections or assets. We can assess whether recognition or enforcement in Israel is available and what supporting documents are required.
Yes. Enquiries from foreign counsel are welcome. Subject to a conflict check and engagement, we can discuss the Israeli work, reporting arrangements, responsibilities and coordination with your existing legal team.
Costs depend on the amount, complexity, evidence, procedural route and enforcement needs. Ask for a written scope and fee proposal, including an explanation of court fees, translations, experts and any possible security for costs relevant to the matter.
